I 'acquired' a M&H Distinction bat a few weeks ago and played with it last Sunday. The best way to describe it is that it was like Harry Potter going to Olivander the wand maker to be fitted for the perfect wand. 'The Champ' is beyond perfect. I like a light bat and this is light. I like a thin handle and this is thin. I couldn't believe how well I was playing. Everything just caroomed off the face or pinged off the edge. I opened, which I don't normally do, and just picked off the bowling. Then the spinner came on and I walked all over him. It just played beautifully I tell you. I wasn't scared to get out, I just didn't want to get out because I wanted to keep hitting the ball. Even when my thigh muscles went I couldn't go off. I average 14 point something and that day I got 35. Not huge I know but for me it was like a ton. And I only got out because I was trying to up the run rate. And it was all down to the confidence I got from 'The Champ.' I wish I was twenty years younger so I could start again with a M&H bat.

I have 5 M+H bats from the early days of
Julian Millichamp and later James Laver. they are all still in very good condition . the bats were bought first for myself and later for both my son and daughter. Each bat is still usable ,a fitting testament to the skill of the makers . Although the price has risen somewhat I am sure that they are still worth every penny

I'm an entrepreneur. I'd like to manufacturer the cricket bats, for rural development in RSA based in Eastern Cape province. May you give me guide lines, for manufacturing and marketing. I'd appreciate your assistance. Kind Regards.

My wife (I know lucky man) took me to have a M and H handmade. Big fat bat for a lower order batter...where my instructions. What happened was a miracle. Last season due to injury, I was seen as an expendable batmans who would score the same 15-20 runs anywhere...so i got a chance to open, as the regular opener took a rather nasty bouncer on the noggin and was out for half the season. The Mighty M and H saw me score 600 runs (my highest total by about 400) and destry the leagues top opening bowler for 45 runs of 3 overs. i made my first league 50 and after my end we were 80-1 after 7 overs. I had scored 69 of these. Best bat ever.
