Turned out as a guest for a club I failed to qualify for 6 years ago. They were one short on the day. I regret not getting in. I had to play 10 games in 2 years. I played 7 in 4 years. I asked for a fifth year but they told me to ‘f’ off. I care now because I’d like to able to go to Lords when I want.
Seeing some of your friends and peers in the pavilion whilst you stand outside is a bit galling. I suspect I wouldn’t think it was a big deal if I could get into the members pavilion. Scored twenty odd, possibly 30 then ran myself out.
