I scored 59 but my count on film says it’s 67. They weren’t the worst attack in the world. They weren’t the best attack either. I rode my luck and survived several chances.
The ground was stunning- perhaps the most breathtaking backdrop for a cricket field in the world. There’s not much I can say. Take a look for yourself.
Milton Abbey

Breathtaking isn’t it? Spare a thought though for dwellers of the old town that was razed so a new house could sit in a reshaped valley with unspoilt sylvan vistas. Celebrate the one tenant who stuck around as home after home was cleared and destroyed when leases fell and expired. To get rid of this last stubborn tenant, Damer opened the sluice gates above the old abbey pond and flooded him out.
To be fair to Damer, the bloke whose family bought the Abbey in the early 18th century, he built the twee, thatched, model picture post card village Milton Abbas.
