The best way to describe it is that it was like Harry Potter going to Olivander the wand maker to be fitted for the perfect wand. 'The Champ' is beyond perfect. I like a light bat and this is light. I like a thin handle and this is thin. I couldn't believe how well I was playing. Everything just caroomed off the face or pinged off the edge. I opened, which I don't normally do, and just picked off the bowling. Then the spinner came on and I walked all over him. It just played beautifully I tell you. I wasn't scared to get out, I just didn't want to get out because I wanted to keep hitting the ball. Even when my thigh muscles went I couldn't go off. I average 14 point something and that day I got 35. Not huge I know but for me it was like a ton. And I only got out because I was trying to up the run rate. And it was all down to the confidence I got from 'The Champ.' I wish I was twenty years younger so I could start again with a M&H bat. Although the price has risen somewhat I am sure that they are still worth every penny I have 5 M+H bats from the early days of
